Justin Piper:   a brief introduction

Justin Piper brings a modern approach to the funk table, having been influenced by John Mclaughlin, Pat Metheny, and Kevin Eubanks. He graduated magna cum laude from the Berklee College of Music in 1999, with a bachelors degree in music performance. After graduation, Justin continued studying with guitar Bruce Bartlett, (a Berklee professor) and jazz composition and style with the legendary Charlie Banacos (on the faculty of New England Conservatory). Both are well known and highly respected musicians in the greater Boston area.

In January, 2002, he matriculated at the New England Conservatory of Music, and graduated with a Masters of Music degree in jazz studies in January, 2004. Justin has received numerous awards from the international association of jazz educators.

A full time musician, Justin splits his time between playing with his band, The Justin Piper Trio, freelance gigs with a variety of different groups, teaching guitar and bass, and writing / arranging / recording original music. Justin was formerly with the Freelance Bishops.

Those thousand or so free hours aren't worth the time it will take to repair the damage their software will do to your computer. Sigh, I found out the hard way.

[Hint: they'll corrupt your windows registry, and then you'll have to find a nerd to get your computer to run again. It's an ugly process, which requires the utterance of many naughty words.].
