Our choirs made a CD they titled, Make a Joyful Noise. I use the word choirs plural because the CD includes four cuts from the flute ensemble, two from the handbell choir and a couple of cuts that include the children's choir. A couple of cuts also have brass, strings, and/or oboe.

I think the CD is rather nice, and am particularly taken by the flute ensemble pieces (nos. 6, 10, 15, 17), probably because I more-or-less direct that group. I also sing on the choir pieces, so of course, the bass section sounds good.

You can buy the CD from our church. I believe they claim details are available from their web site, but it's probably a better idea to call the office and ask. The number is (781) 944-0205.

If you need an .mp3 player, check out WinAmp. It provides a much less intrusive interface than either Windows Media Player or Real Player, and is, happily, free.
